Birth/Labor Doula
This package includes pre-natal & labor support with a variety of pregnancy support. De will be with the birthing person throughout their labor, catering to their specific needs. Aiding in breathing, relaxation, and meditation; De will offer comfort measures, like wiping her face and offering nourishment to support both parents. Guiding the birthing person through contractions and pushing, De will aid to reduce discomfort through exercises and warm compresses. De will honor the families birth wishes and advocate for them through education and informed choice.

Infant Feeding
Whether you are breast/chest feeding, pumping and/or using formula to bottle-feed, Doula De can help you understand the in-and-outs of infant feeding.

Postpartum Doula
De provides hourly and overnight postpartum care. This vital time she will focus on helping the family as they transition into life with a newborn(s). She will aid in breastfeeding techniques & nipple care, as well as herbal baths and vaginal steams. She will provide light house cleaning, providing postpartum fitness and nutrition services as needed. West African culture regards this time as sacred and allows mothers three months to adjust, De recognizes this tradition and can be available for an appointment up to 12 weeks postpartum.

Placenta Encapsulation
The concept of eating the placenta has existed across mammalian species for centuries, and has been documented amongst humans for generations. The benefits in birthing human may include increased milk supply, hormone stabilization, increased energy, less lochia flow, reduced risk of postpartum depression, and much more. This service includes placenta education and process supplies/forms for ease.
